September TBR 2016

At first I thought I’d set myself a challenge this month and put 5 books on my TBR list. Then I realised I don’t have the time since university has started again. I just hope there is enough time in the evenings (or mornings) for me to read. Because of this I settled for 3½ books, and these are the books I plan to read this month.

Thank you Wise Ink Creative Publishing for giving me and ARC of this book! I’ll have to start reading it really soon if I want to read it before release on September 19th.

What drew me to this book was first and foremost the cover. I mean look at it, it’s beautiful. The fire hair against a black backdrop. I love it. Then I read the first word of the synopsis “Scholar. Slave. Warrior. Wizard.” It sounds so promising. I do expect something of this book.

The Dragon RebornThe Dragon Reborn by Robert Jordan (as well as finishing The great Hunt)

Okay, I know. This was on my last TBR as well, but I didn’t read it so here we go again! This is the third book in The Wheel of Time and the story is just becoming more and more exciting. The second book is so much better than the first, and if it continues like this, my mind is going to blow before the end of this series.

Possibility for mind blow – there are 14 books in this series – high.

The Fearless Travelers’ Guide to Wicked Places by Peter Begler

This is another ARC, and this time my thanks go to Capstone Young Readers for this. It’s the second time I’ve gotten an ARC from them and I feel so blessed!

This book I’ve already started reading, which means I’ll have a review up really soon. What can I say about it already? It’s a hell of a ride!

These are what I’d like to read this upcoming month! Is any of them on your TBR as well? What do you want to read this month?

      1. I do too. Trying to pick some up from time to time. They are often able to do so much more and play with your imagination.
I also think it might be healthy to read something completely different from a series like The Wheel of Time (because that one’s massive)

      2. I agree with you. I need to look into what’s good with Middle Grade books, and see what’s going on.

I am actually into Saga. Before, I would not be interested in reading anything Graphic Novels, but now I need to read MORE!

      3. I’ve been thinking about Saga myself, everyone’s loving it! The only Graphic Novels I’ve read are two of the Assassin’s Creed novels and the first issue of Monstress. I’ve read a lot of manga but I don’t know if it counts 😛

      4. 🙂 Oh I have heard people raving about Assassin’s Creed, and it is making me want to read them, but I need to get a library card so I can read them first before buying them in case I don’t love it.

        And yes, it counts! 😉
