Review of the Unpublished Epilogue to A Wizard’s Forge

When I read A Wizard’s Forge by A.M. Justice I though the ending was perfect. It was the first book in a series and IA Wizard's Forge couldn’t have asked for more. But it seem like not everyone shared my opinion. This resulted in the release of an epilogue, which you can read here, on A.M. Justice’s blog. However, if you haven’t read the book, don’t read the epilogue, there are major spoilers in there.

This epilogue threw me straight back into the book. It was beautifully written and even though it has been some time since I read A Wizard’s Forge and I had forgotten the names of some characters it was easy to follow.

“At last the tremors stopped. Everyone froze, eyes fixed on the gaping hole in their mountain home.”

It picks up exactly where the book left us and I have to say this felt more like a cliffhanger than the official ending of the book. But it definitely makes you crave the next instalment of the Woern Saga.

I also want to applaud A.M. Justice on her blog and willingness to give the fans more. She fills her blog with facts about the world and discussions to answer questions asked by readers. It is a wonderful thing.

Have you read A Wizard’s Forge yet? What did you think?
