December 2016 TBR

It is almost December and that means my Birthday and Christmas! It will be a lovely month. There are quite a few books I’d like to read. And here they are…

The Dragon RebornThe Dragon Reborn by Robert Jordan

I am continuing The Wheel of Time, and this is the third book in this massive story. After the second book I was so in love with the story and (some) of the characters and I want to know what’s going to happen. I started it a few days ago, and I do hope I’ll have time to finish it in December. In other words, I hope there won’t be a lot of other books flirting with me… I just bought a bunch…

This is definitely the main book I want to read this upcoming month.

The NoviceThe Novice by Taran Matharu

I still haven’t read this one and I feel a bit ashamed. I bought it in May, together with a bunch of other books, of which I’ve read all, except of course this one. But it has been looking at me a lot lately and I really want to pick it up. Especially since I just bought the second book.

This book has received so much praise and who wouldn’t want to read about someone who can summon demons? Has anyone read it? I haven’t heard much about it on blogs. Only one BookTuber I’m following mentioned the second book, The Inquisition, in a haul and was really intrigued. After that I’ve heard nothing.

Empire of StormsEmpire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

I think everyone has heard about this book. The fifth instalment in the Throne of Glass series.  I love this series and I need to read this book! And then reread the whole series. I seriously cannot understand how I still haven’t read this. How is that possible? Thankfully I have been able to avoid spoilers, which feels so good. It is time to pick it up!

This isn’t the only Sarah J. Maas book sitting unread on my shelf. Which brings me to the last book I want to read during the wonderful Christmas time…

A Court of Mist and FuryA Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Of course I am talking about A Court of Mist and Fury. The third book is coming out soon (how does she release two books a year?) and I want to be able to read that one right away. Maas has definitely become one of my auto buy authors. Love her characters and worlds. What do you think of Sarah J. Maas’ books? I know many think they are over hyped, and I think I’d have thought the same unless I had read Throne of Glass before I knew of the hype. Now I just love her books.

What will you read in December?

  1. Your book list makes me SUPER jealous! I have so many books to finish for reading challenges this month– but I’d rather be reading yours. 🙂 I also adore The Wheel of Time. It’s great to finally also find a fan! I feel like so many people criticize it… I can’t wait to hear what you think about these books!

    1. Haha^^ Thank you! (Can I say that to “super jealous”?)

I think the main reason I’m not participating in any reading challenges is that there are too many books I really want to read so I don’t have the time to restrict myself. It’s hard enough as it is to find time to read them all.

Wheel of time is really growing on me. The first book was a bit boring, but the second was so amazing it makes up for it. Still, it will take me forever to finish this series 😀

  2. I have actually read ACOTAR a few days ago (review coming soon) and I really enjoyed it,thought the first third of the book was kind of hard to get through. How did you like it? Looking foward to hear what you thought about the second book. I actually haven’t started it, yet.
