Valentines day! How better to celebrate that here on my blog than with looking at some of the fictional couples who are nothing less than POWER COUPLES. There probably are some tags floating around with the same theme, but I decided to make this. Goldmoon and Riverwind from the Dragonlance Chronicles. They are made for each other and has gone through more than enough even before we meet them in the story. They share the dream of returning to their people, even knowing they cannot, and work towards the same goal… Which I cannot tell you about because major spoiler.

A couple that love and respect each other

Is it possible to say anyone else? Molly and Arthur Weasley from the Harry Potter series. They are a match made in heaven. Respect, love and complete trust. Relationship goals right there!

A couple that is stronger together than apart

If you’ve read the books, is it possible to even not put Katniss and Peeta together? The Hunger Games was never a love triangle drama. And if you think about it, Katniss and Peeta complement each other perfectly. They are two sides of the same coin. One could not be without the other. Btw, it is completely okay if you like Gale more than Peeta, just saying that’s not how I see it.

A couple that wholly support each other

It feels like I could pick anyone already mentioned, but that would be cheating. A couple that support each other through thick and this definitely is Aragorn and Arwen. The Lord of the Rings is an epic story with a romance one could only dream of. I love how the movies highlighted it. Their support of each other is incredible and I could only dream of something similar.

A couple that advocate each other for others

Han and Raisa from the Seven Realm series. THERE ARE NO GOOD PICTURES OF THEM! Anyway, they literally advocate each other for others. A lot of politics surrounding them. But they fight through all of it and oh what a journey. They are great characters and a couple you can’t do anything but root for.
