June 2017 TBR

Last month went so well! I hope the summer will continue like that 😀 I want to read even more! Please warmth, come to all of Finland and not just the south part!

Anyway, I am already a good way through many of the books I have on my already started part of this tbr, so might be that I will have a long wrap up by the end of June. Anyway, here are the books I want to read this upcoming month.

The books I’ve already started

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas – I started, and oh how I love Maas’ writing style! Her characters and storytelling just sucks you in and they never let you go. Gonna fly through this one! Already a fifth of the way through.

Friends vs. Family by C.L. Stone – Guilty pleasure. This story seriously needs some editing, but I still cannot help loving it. It is adorable and silly. Perfect as a counter to all of the fantasy.

Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson – 80 % done already. Listening to it. Loving it. I don’t know what I’ll do after this. The third book isn’t out yet! Might very well finish it tomorrow.

The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan – Oh… The Wheel of Time… I want to get through you, but this book just kills me. 400 pages in and my brain has gone to mush. It is just so boring! I’ll probably read a few pages this month and slowly get through this bastard.

Books I want to get to

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller – I got this in the April Magic Chest and I really want to pick it up! Sounds like a perfect adventure when spending time at our summerhouse by the sea.

Ewan Pendle and the White Wraith by Shaun Hume – This one I got from the author in exchange for an honest review. It’s pitched as a perfect book for people “suffering from HARRY POTTER withdrawals”, so I had to say yes.

Icefall: Episodes 1-6 by Walt Stone and Mica Stone – Still haven’t gotten to this one. NetGalley, sorry for leaving you behind. Anyway, still love the cover, still want to read the story.

Salem’s Curse by Sydney Bristow – Another NetGalley pickup. I was thinking about this one as a “guilty pleasure read”, but then I got stuck with The Academy instead. Let’s see if I get to this one.

What do you have on your June tbr?

    1. I’ve heard so many good things about that book 😀 I really hope you enjoy it! I only have it in the back of my mind on the maybe list, sadly it’s impossible to read everything 😛

  1. Looks like a pretty good lineup! And I totally understand what you mean with the Wheel of Time books! They can be tough to get through! Best of luck with this month’s reading!
