I ♥ Them Turtles!

This has nothing to do with books, BUT I JUST WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE OF TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES AND I NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE!

Oh yes you could! I’m 21 years old and watch the 2012 TMNT cartoon. And you know what, it is awesome! The characters are so much fun and you do fall for all four of the turtles (Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo). If you haven’t seen it, give it a chance. There is something in it for everyone.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead

About season 4 this far, I liked it but there was one huge thing I just couldn’t get myself to like – Raph’s crush on Mona Lisa. Where was the chemistry? I see how they on paper would make a nice fit, but there is something there that’s not working. I’m so glad they’re back on Earth now and to be honest, I hope she won’t visit.

I might want Raph for myself… Is that weird?

A few of the best things about this season were:

1. Chompy! I love the episode where Spike gets mutated into Slash, but Raph needs something to care about and Spike was gone. As soon as I saw Chompy I knew what was going to happen, and I got so scared it wouldn’t. But it did! Raphael’s got a new baby turtle to take care of!
2. The Fugitoid = David Tennant! Do I need to explain?
3. Donatello just becomes more and more badass the futher into the series we come. And yes, I do ship him with April. Casey, stay away.

And not to forget this awesome episode:

Even though I haven’t seen the old TMNT this episode was so amazing, looking back at the Turtles’ history. I think I might start watching the old series this fall. Maybe…

I’ve nothing more to watch, but on Sunday (August 14) season 4 continues! I’ll probably watch the new episode on Monday. How will I survive not being able to binge watch this?
