Stationary Book Tag

Thank you so much Jasmine from How Useful It Is for tagging me! Tags are so much fun to read and write. I am really looking forward to the last question, fantasy usually equals series and I love a good series.

But first the Rules:

  • Thank the creator: Sam @ RiverMooseReads, Thank you!
  • Answer the questions.
  • Add pictures! (If you want to)
  • Tag (about) 5 people.

Pencils || Favorite MG or children’s book

I have to steal Jasmine’s (and probably a lot of other’s as well) answer for this – Harry Potter. What this series mean to me is almost ridiculous. It is the best series there is.

harry potter

Pens || A basic staple for any reader

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien or The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I’ve read both of them multiple times and they definitely are something you should find on everyone’s bookshelf.

Notebooks || What books do you own multiple copies of?

I have to go with Harry Potter again. I own the whole series in Swedish and English, and the first book in Finnish as well.

TIPS: When learning a new language, read a book you already know in that language. Much easier when the story is familiar.

Markers || A book with a beautiful cover

“A book”, why not a hundred books? Well, here’s one (I haven’t read the book yet but I have fallen in love with the cover):

The Midnight Sea

Glue || Two characters that work well together even if they aren’t together

Frodo and Sam from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. They manage to get all the way to Mordor and back, and that requires something else. Despite Frodo wearing the ring, they work really well together. Friendship goals (y)

Scissors || What book would you like to destroy?

Fifty Shades of Grey. I’ve read it, and yes, that is actually a book I could destroy. Not worth your time. There is a lot of good fan fiction out there, go enjoy that instead.

Art kit || What completed series do you own?

I own quite a few complete series, and here they are, in alphabetical order:

  • The Bronze Canticles by Tracy and Laura Hickman
  • Conclave of Shadows by Raymond E. Feist
  • The Darkwar Saga by Raymon E. Feist
  • Divergent by Veronica Roth
  • Dragonlance Chronicles by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
  • Dragonlance Legends by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
  • Dragonlance The Second Generation by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
  • Drakriddare by Jo Salmson
  • The Dreamers by David and Leigh Eddings
  • Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
  • His Dark Materials by Philip Phullman
  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  • Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini
  • Ink Heart by Cornelia Funke
  • The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Shadowdance by David Dalglish
  • Seven Realms by Cinda Williams Chima
  • Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

I hope I remembered them all (I am currently living without my bookshelves). Maybe I should do a post about these series, where I actually tell you about them. What do you think?

  1. thank you so, so much for tagging me! Super excited to do this 😀 Completely agree about Harry Potter. I didn’t start getting it much until I was in my teens but now I’m obsessed. It’s helped me in my darkest days and for that I will forever be greatful. The Midnight Sea is a gorgeous cover! *insert heart eye emoji*. Time to look that book up on goodreads :3 I would love to hear your thoughts on the Inkheart trilogy. I own all 3 books. Inkheart in my favorite movie and i loved the book. I tried reading the 2nd and enjoyed it for awhile but never finished it. :c

    1. You’re welcome^^
With Ink Heart, I like the movie and it was during that hype I bought the books (plus the Swedish edition is gorgeous). I started the first one but I didn’t finish it (ashamed). I still want to read them though!

  2. I haven’t read fifty shades yet but I thought I heard a lot of people loved it. I didn’t see the movie either. You sure have a big collection of books!

    1. I haven’t seen the movie and I’m not planning to. It is a bit sad that the one fanfiction they decided to publish wasn’t the best the fanfiction world has to offer.

I’ve been collecting books since I learned to read. And since I only read fantasy it tends to be series. I’ve been thinking about a bookshelf tour, but I don’t know what the best way to do it would be.
