A Court of Mist and Fury

A Court of Mist and FuryA Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh my god. Oh. My. God. Oh my god!!

This book, what did I just read? The twists and turns. The story. The characters. I have laughed, been angry and felt both hope and despair. I understood Feyre in her choices and her feelings. I am impressed of her determination. Her growth.

Okay, calm down.

Sarah J. Maas has done something incredible in this. From the first page the story pulls you in and it doesn’t let you leave. She’s a master at creating characters you care about and stories you have no idea in which direction they will go. She is definitely the Queen of YA at the moment.

I will not go more into the story, since this is the second book in ACOTAR, but know this, it is so much better than the first one! Everything you think you know is put on its head. Definitely going to reread all of her books many times.

Thank you so much Klara @ RibbonReviews for suggestig doind this as a buddy read now in January! It would probably have taken me a lot longer to read the book otherwise^^

Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world torn apart.
